Submitters TIPS

If you are submitting original material, be sure to note this.

Use plain text as much as possible.

Keep photos to 500x500 pixels or less. 

If you are submitting an article you found elsewhere online, be sure to include include a headline, the town and state, brief summary, URL of article and a valid email address. Example headline: "Headline here - Town, State"  (see our news page for how we format.)

Avoid cut and paste from a .doc, as they usually require extensive work on our behalf to make presentable on the news pages and time we may not have to do this for you.  Do not cut and paste an entire online news page.

Scripts and other potentially malicious items are immediately rejected and not loaded to the server.

Do not attempt to include large attachments or upload files, they are not accepted from outside submitters. If you have special needs in regards to .doc., pdf, photos or other items, please contact us.

We strive to keep our readers up-to-date on the newest products that have been made available to help us in our profession, but we avoid publishing 'news press releases' that masquerade as advertisements for products and services. If you wish to draw attention to your new product with hopes of generating sales, we recommend you purchase ad space.
