An officer responding to an accident scene was involved in a minor crash with an ambulance. Authorities closed 107th Avenue between McDowell Road and the I-10 because of the initial crash that occurred north of the freeway. One person was hospitalized. South of the I-10, the the Avondale officer and the ambulance got tangled up in a fender bender. No one was injured. No word on when 107th Avenue will reopen. |
