Ambulance transporting patient involved in accident - Florida

An ambulance transporting a patient to a hospital this morning was involved in an accident.

The Osceola County rescue vehicle was on State Road 535 near Vineland Road when it was struck by another car around 11:50 am., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the scene to finish transporting the patient to the hospital. It's unknown if anyone else was injured.
