Glacier County EMS in Cut Bank, MT is looking for an experienced Paramedic for one FT position.  Position comes with County Based benefits, retirement plan, health/medical package, and two longevity increases in first year.

Assess nature and extent of illness and injury of persons, administer Basic and Advanced life Support to sick and / or injured persons in the pre-hospital setting as authorized and directed by the Medical Director, either by Standing Orders, (written protocols), or by the on-line medical control physician. Initiate care and treatment as allowed by level of certification or license as a paramedic.  Provide ground transport of patients to area hospitals and out-of-area tertiary care facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. Thorough knowledge of EMS.  Strong interpersonal leadership skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must reside within five miles of the EMS Station. State of Montana and National Registry Certification as a Paramedic required and must be maintained. Must possess and maintain ACLS, NRP, Healthcare provider CPR, PHTLS, PALS or PEPP, and valid Drivers License.  CCEMT-P Preferred
