Kanabec Operations Supervisor
Full-time (1.0 FTE)
 

Allina Medical Transportation is one of the region's largest ambulance and medical transport services. Allina Medical Transportation provides advanced life support, basic life support and scheduled transport in more than 80 Minnesota communities.

This position is responsible for the day to day operations of the Kanabec operations. Directly supervises employees in the Ambulance Department.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; budget, billing, ambulance licensing, and compliance; responds to ambulance calls, disasters, process staffing issues; coordinates projects as assigned and functions as a member of the Operations team.  They will also have hospital specific duties as assigned such as disaster planning, communications/radios and participation and coordination of community events.  Typically work Mon-Fri daytime with occasional weekends and evenings.

Qualifications:

Current Minnesota EMSRB EMT-P certification
Associates Degree or two or more years experience as an EMS supervisor
Current certification in CPR, ACLS, and PEPP or PALS
Completion of ICS 700, 100, & 200
Demonstrated ability in interpersonal skills, strong communications skills, and problem solving
Strong Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and eagerness to learn other computer software applications
Excellent customer service skills
