Wet Roads To Blame For Crash Involving Ambulance - Kentucky
Slick road conditions are being attributed to a head on crash involving an ambulance that was transporting a patient to a hospital in Knox County.
Police say a car crossed the center line Monday evening on north Kentucky 11 just outside of Barbourville and hit an ambulance that was carrying 1 patient and 3 EMT's.
Police say all three EMT's were treated and released, while the patient was flown to UK Medical Center for reasons not related to the crash. The driver of the car was taken to the Knox County Hospital.
