A suspect was quickly apprehended on Sunday morning in Floyd County, after assaulting two paramedics and pulling a pistol on them. According to Police Radio Traffic, an ambulance crew requested assistance shortly before Noon at a location in Coosa. They were apparently working with a patient in the ambulance when he became violent and pulled a handgun on them. EMS was able to restrain the suspect until County Police arrived a short time later. The suspect was apprehended and the handgun recovered. Its not clear exactly what charges the individual will be facing in that incident.
