Ambulance Crash Log

Three car crash in Yarmouth involving an ambulance - Massachusetts

Just after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning a Cape Cod Ambulance was struck by this white car that suffered extensive damage (right). The crash occurred on Route 28 just west of the Mill Hill Club.

A third car was involved and was slightly damaged. The ambulance (shown above) sustained heavy damage and went off the road narrowly missing a tree.  At the time of the crash, there were no patients aboard the ambulance.

One of the drivers was slightly injured and transported to Cape Cod Hospital by the Yarmouth Fire Department ambulance.

There was a lot of black ice in the area, but it is not known if it was a factor in the crash.  Yarmouth Police are investigating.
