Ambulance Crash Log

Four hurt in ambulance crash - Eastland County, Texas

Four Eastland County residents were injured Sunday morning when a pick-up truck collided with an ambulance en route to an emergency, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The ambulance was traveling to an emergency call near the community of Olden when it turned north under Interstate 20 to FM 3363. A half-ton Dodge pick-up truck traveling west on the north I-20 access road struck the passenger side of the ambulance, which flipped onto its driver's side.

In the ambulance, the driver, Tammy Harris, 36, of Cisco, and the attendant, Denise Ramos, 33, of Eastland, were both injured. Also injured were the driver of the pick-up, Juanita King, 45, and a passenger, Billy King, 58, both of Olden. All four were taken to Eastland Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not available.
