Malcolm (Mack) Monds, EMT/AHA National Faculty - Alaska

Malcolm (Mack) Monds past away from unknown causes at his home here in Anchorage.

Mack has been a leader in American Heart Association as a “National Faculty”, Instructor Trainer, Instructor, Training Center Coordinator and ECC member since he became an instructor in 1988.

Mack also has been active with Alaska Professional Volunteers for over 7 years.  He became an EMT 2 in 10-06, he had been a Sergeant, Lieutenant and assistant to me during those years.

He exhibited outstanding leadership qualities and was a true friend and example for many.  He always made the time to help anyone.

He was never one to criticizes but one to always demonstrate through assistance.

Mack leaves a wife (Loni), a daughter Margaret (early 20s) and a son Josh (19) in his first year of college in Georgia.

We will be notifying all of our members later today and would appreciate Mack and his family being kept in everyone’s thoughts.
