To all readers,

    First I wish to thank you all for your support in my column "IC Corner. I will be taking the month of July off to pursue other projects, one of those being my retirement from the DC. Fire & EMS Department. It has been a long journey that I now must close the door. But as that door closed another one has opened, that is the direction that I have to follow. I have started following my love for writing into the field of "Special Interest", I will be doing Fire & EMS related articles for a local newspaper in Virginia. I will also be writing other articles. Currently I write for EMS Network News, The Standard Freelancer and The Warren County Report and I feel now is the time for me to expand my horizons. When I return in August the IC Corner column will be redone and include articles on many different topics within the Fire & EMS service, not just infection control.

So again I thank you and I will see you all in August
