On the Road

Fort Knox, Kentucky WW-II Era Emergency Supplies and Equipment

On the Road
by John McMaster, MBA

Associate Editor in Chief and columnist John McMaster goes on the road, reporting in on his visits with small and large EMS groups across the nation.

John also writes the column, "Curmudgeon's Corner."

On May 26th I attended a mock WW-II battle here at Fort Knox, Kentucky next to the Patton Museum. There was a surgical tent set up with authentic WW-II era supplies and equipment. In the process I met and spoke with Dr. Peter Kirsch who runs the M.A.S.H. Museum in Louisville and he's invited me for a visit.

A few pictures from today, including a reminder for people to drive careful and defensively. Its the start of the 101 dangerous days of Summer. With it being Memorial Day Weekend I would hope people take a moment and give thanks to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
