Curmudgeon Feedback

Frisbie Feedback: Holy Toledo

Your article is on the mark. When the patient is the last consideration then something big is missing.  I didn't realize that the role of EMS was to ''save 20 City jobs''.  The expectations of ''making a million dollars a year'' is so far off base it's ludicrous.  This hysteria has been created by some dubious information provided by some unscrupulous people who might benefit from a change to Fire Service EMS.

If the City of Toledo would utilize a standardized EMS budget and have the FD submit their information on that template, City leaders would soon discover that the outcome (bottom line) is not what they are being lead to believe. The American Ambulance Association has that template available for use.
