Feedback: EMS A-Z Series

Disappointed in column, ""F" ? First Aid, First Responders? First On Scene"
I was very disappointed to read your article: EMS A-Z Series .... "F" ? First Aid, First Responders? First On Scene by Jim Hoffman, Paramedic.

I was very disappointed to read your article: EMS A-Z Series .... "F" ? First Aid, First Responders? First On Scene by Jim Hoffman, Paramedic.

I think it is inappropriate to have such an editorial posing as fact.and rediculous as to stereotype these fine individuals afterall I started out as a Volunteer and without them we would lose alot more pts I ask that you consider your articles published a lot closer as to how volunteers feel Most of our First Responders here in West Ky I would put up against any of his so called Paid professionals they are as professional as any Paid Person
While I am sure some first responders may unfortunately feel this way, it is certainly not the situation everywhere and this article can only foster some of the stereotypes some of us have worked hard to prevent or correct.

Thanks and now I will get off my soapbox
Kerry W DeHaven EMT-P Supervisor and yes Volunteer FF/First responder
