Ambulance Crash Log

No charges to be filed in fatal car-ambulance crash - Boulder, Colorado
Pridemark Paramedic ambulance going south on 30th Street slammed into Boemker's Honda Civic en route to a reported structure fire

No charges will be filed in connection with a crash that killed a 16-year-old Lafayette girl, after she pulled in front of an ambulance responding to a call.

That decision comes after a meeting between the district attorney's office and Boulder police in the case of Hannah Nicole Bauer Boemker.

She died May First when a Pridemark Paramedic ambulance going south on 30th Street slammed into Boemker's Honda Civic en route to a reported structure fire.

Police say they conducted more than 30 interviews, and looked at data including vehicle inspections and accident reconstruction reports.

Investigators say it's NOT clear if Boemker was listening to an iPod at the time of the crash, but say 27-year-old ambulance driver Kevin Shepard didn't do anything wrong.

Boemker was a junior at Boulder High School.
