Edgewater NJ Follow-up
It is an important story and perhaps now the level of debate will be elevated to a more public forum in which meaningful changes and improvements can be openly discussed and actually implemented.

First and foremost, I would like to thank EMS Network News for taking an interest in the patient care concerns that I believe still exist and still represent a clear and present danger to the health, safety and welfare of the public in Edgewater. It is an important story and perhaps now the level of debate will be elevated to a more public forum in which meaningful changes and improvements can be openly discussed and actually implemented.
I would also like to briefly comment on the characterization of my not being a team player by saying that I am pleased that the Squad went out of their way to illustrate so clearly that our opinions about their quality of patient care differ so greatly. In doing so, they have affirmed for all to see that I refused to simply “go with the flow” just because it was the easy way out or popular thing to do. Having reviewed Squad records that show ongoing patient care issues I am glad that they themselves have realized and admitted that I was definitely not part of the “team” that was responsible. This is the same “team” I might add, whose own records indicate they continue to routinely perform incomplete assessments and provide improper care.
If my refusing to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to problems that could potentially have a negative impact on the lives of the public earns me the distinction of not being a team player in their eyes, then I can proudly say “I AM NOT A TEAM PLAYER!”
