Ambulance crashes - Wright, Wyoming

Two paramedics escaped serious injury at about noon Thursday when their ambulance rolled over near Wright, the Wyoming Highway Patrol said.

The ambulance was responding to a call when it swerved to miss an antelope in the road, Trooper Dwayne Hunt said.

Driver Sara Nelson, 29, of Wright wasn't hurt in the accident. Passenger Joe Robidoux, whose age was unavailable, also a Wright paramedic, went to Campbell County Memorial Hospital for a checkup, Hunt said.

A second ambulance from Wright was able to respond to the initial call for help, said hospital spokeswoman Karen Clarke.
