Must possess and maintain an appropriate valid California Paramedic License or NREMT Paramedic Certification. Experience: At least one (1) year of recent, paid, full-time successful firefighter experience in a recognized municipal fire agency and one (1) year of recent, paid, full-time experience working in the capacity of Paramedic. License Requirement: Possess and maintain a valid California Class “C” drivers license and possession of, or the ability to obtain, a Class “B” license prior to completion of the first year of employment. Paramedic Certifications: Must be or have the ability to become a Paramedic in good standing as required by the State of Firefighter Certifications: Possession of California Firefighter I Certificate must be completed within one (1) year of the date of appointment. Other Certifications: Must possess and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications. Copies of required certificates must be submitted with application. |
