Ambulance Transporting A Patient Hits Power Pole - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

An accident overnight turned a paramedic into a patient.

Officials say that a city ambulance with a patient on board stuck a pole around 3:15 a.m. on the Northside.

The crash happened at the intersection of Clayton and Langley.

According to police, the pole along with its attached wires came down and landed on the ambulance trapping everyone inside.

The power company was called to shut off the power and all three passengers were able to escape.

The patient was not further injured in the accident and the medic was taken to a local hospital to be check out.
