The patient allegedly was beating one of the transporters when the other transporter tried to help.
The patient put both of the transporters out of the ambulance and left them on the side of the road and fled the scene.
Officials said she drove through five townships and two counties, but police only followed her for the last 5 miles.
Stop sticks helped to catch the patient.
