The defendant, who lives in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue, was arrested at 9 p.m. Thursday. The arrest followed a teenage female elbowing the 29-year-old paramedic as he attempted to load her into the ambulance. After making contact with his lower chin/neck area, the teenager girl grabbed an IV catheter/syringe and attempted to stab him and herself. The victim and witnesses then held her down until police arrived. |
