Baltimore police say a patient attacked two paramedics in their ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Police say the two paramedics were taking Allen Spencer, who was allegedly intoxicated, to a hospital on Friday.

As the ambulance approached an intersection, police say Spencer pushed the paramedic riding with him in the back onto the stretcher and exposing himself.

When the paramedic driving the ambulance stopped to help, Spencer shoved her aside and took off.
Officials say the paramedics were not seriously harmed.

Spencer was arrested a short time later and was charged with assault and indecent exposure. He's being held on one million dollars bail.

According to state records, Spencer is a registered sex offender. He was convicted of first-degree rape and burglary in Prince George's County in 1982.
