Ottawa cops raced to the aid of a city paramedic crew last night after a medic was hit in the face by a pellet fired from a pellet gun.
The crew was responding to a call on Ramsey Cres. when the paramedic was hit while preparing equipment outside the ambulance at about 8 p.m. Fortunately, the paramedic was not injured.
When police arrived, no one was able to identify where the pellet came from, but the investigation continues. There are no suspects at this time.
