A 21-year-old woman died Sunday from injuries suffered in a collision between a passenger vehicle and an ambulance in Olympia Fields this weekend that also injured two other people.

Dorian Riley, of an unknown address, was pronounced dead at 6 p.m. at St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, according to a Cook County Medical Examiner's Office spokeswoman.

At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, a Ford Heights Fire Department ambulance collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Olympian Way, according to an Olympia Fields news release. Three people were taken in unknown conditions to St. James Hospital in the south suburb, the release stated.

Riley died at the hospital the next day from injuries sustained in the accident, according to a hospital administrator. She would not comment on the other two people injured in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation, the release stated.
