A medical helicopter carrying three crew members from the Metro crashed near Tulsa Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. on the west side of the city. A pilot, a nurse and a paramedic were on board.
A nurse aboard the aircraft reported hearing a loud noise and the helicopter began shaking before it went down copter landed on its side when it went down in a field.
The pilot, Kenneth A. Capitol, tried to land the helicopter but couldn't and it crashed into the ground next to a house, troopers said.
No one on the ground was injured.
Capitol, 36, of Edmond, and nurse Kerri Meier, 36, of Yukon suffered minor head injuries and were treated at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and released. Paramedic David Howard, 41, of Edmond, wasn't hurt.
